We already pay for Zen Planner. Can we run both?

You can, but most clubs that switch find the overlap (member roster, dues, attendance) makes it pointless. The case for keeping the legacy tool is usually a payment processor lock-in.

Question 2

Does HILT integrate with Mindbody for billing?

Accepted Answer

No. HILT uses Stripe directly on Knight tier, with your own Stripe account. You keep 100 percent of the dues, less Stripe fees. There is no HILT markup on payments.

Question 3

What about TeamSnap or Sportlyzer?

Accepted Answer

TeamSnap is built for youth team sports (rosters, schedules, parent communication). Sportlyzer covers a broader European sports-club market. Both work in a generic way and miss the HEMA-specific stuff: treatise-based curricula, per-weapon ELO, HEMA tournament formats, feder inventory. If those do not matter to your club, those tools may suit you. If they do, HILT is built for them.

Why is there no free trial like Kicksite?

There is. HILT Page is free forever for clubs up to 10 members. Any officer can also activate a 30-day Knight trial for full access (tournaments, treasury, sparring ELO, everything).

Question 5

Do you do credit card processing?

Accepted Answer

Stripe is the processor on Knight tier. You connect your Stripe account, dues flow directly to your bank, HILT takes no cut of payments. Lower tiers can use a manual Treasury ledger.

Question 6

Is HILT good for an Olympic fencing club?

Accepted Answer

It can work, but Olympic fencing has specific needs around electric scoring, FIE tournament rules, and national-federation reporting that HILT does not specialise in. Some Olympic clubs use HILT for the member, equipment, and tournament management side and keep their federation tools for federation reporting. If you run an Olympic club, email support@hilt.my and we will be honest about whether HILT fits.
